In order to help even more of our neighbors have a happy Thanksgiving, we're volunteering with Norwalk Housing Authority's Thanksgiving basket distribution! Norwalk Housing Authority (NHA) will be giving over 300 bags with turkeys and fixings to NHA residents, and it takes a lot of helping hands to make that possible.
NHA team members will be leading the volunteers and the check-in process for NHA residents.
Different shifts have different responsibilities, but they're all an important part of the day!
- 10:30am - 12:30pm, help unload turkeys from the delivery trucks and start assembling fixings bags
- 12:30pm - 2:30pm, even more fixing bag assembly! and begin distribution to families (who are either walking up or driving up)
- 2:30pm - 4:30pm, distribution to families (who are either walking up or driving up)
- 4:30pm - 6:30pm, final distribution and clean up / pack up the site
