Make a difference for children dealing with homelessness! This is not your average tutoring session; this is an opportunity to help kids build social and emotional skills.
Develop relationship with students as we dive deep into creative ways to problem solve and complete homework assignments, try new art activities and science projects, cook and bake, learn and have fun.
During the school year, all After-School Buddies volunteers commit to a regular schedule (Tuesdays &/or Thursdays) in order to provide consistency for the kids we serve.
Over the summer we hold regular Summer Fun days to have an afternoon of activities and let the families get to know the After-School Buddies volunteers for the upcoming school year.
