Who We Are
Welcome to our Open Doors Community Closet and thank you for volunteering!
Our goal is to provide our clients with a dignified shopping experience by offering clean, seasonal, current and stylish items, treating all clients with respect and kindness.
How your time helps: Open Doors' community closet is a resource that provides quality wardrobes for people dealing with poverty and homelessness here in our community. We serve 1,500+ individuals & families who are struggling. Your time spent sorting, cleaning and shopping with clients makes a world of a difference to many people. Thank You!
What We Do
Help people who shop at our free community closet or sort and process donations from the community. There’s a particular need for volunteers who speak Spanish or Haitian Creole, from basic skills to fluent speakers. Additional organizing hours for groups are welcome!
